You have a number of options for accommodation during the event. The club can accommodate over 100 of you in rooms to various standards and prices. There are local B&Bs and small hotels. A number of club members take in guests for major championships. There are camp-sites nearby for motor-homes, caravans and tents. Havant Borough Council tourist office provides a one-stop-shop for all manner of tourist information including accommodation.

Regrets no camping at HISC in tents, motor-homes or anything due to local laws

Apart from hitting Google with ‘Hayling Island’, also hit Google with ‘Havant’ as Havant is the local town. Havant  has the local accommodation office – you will find them most helpful as a one-stop-shop for accommodation, tourist attractions etc. They understand HISC and its international visitors and will do everything to help you.  www.havant.gov.uk/  and follow the ‘Visiting Us’ links or else www.visit-oystercoast.co.uk . I have concentrated on accommodation on Hayling Island as it takes about 15 minutes just to drive down the island. If that doesn’t bother you or others in your party want access to other tourist venues, then you have more options just off the island.
